Hello! I did this New Baby card today for a friend who is due to have her baby in July. I also, unfortunately, had to make a sympathy card for a very lovely man who died at the weekend.

I made this card this morning for one of my very best friend's birthday which is coming up soon. I loved the purple card as it has a lovely feel to it and the shine is beautiful - I'm not sure if it has a special name or not, but it's gorgeous. I tried to show that in the photographs, but not sure if you can see it or not?

Thought I'd try the patchwork effect card, which I seen being made last week, what do you think?
